James “Jim” Adam Belushi (born June 15, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American actor and musician with Albanian roots, and the brother of John Belushi.

Life

Belushi was born in Chicago, the son of Albanian immigrants, Adam and Agnes Belushi and grew up in Wheaton (Illinois). For a long time he stood in the shadow of his brother John. Only after his death, he was able to establish themselves in the film business. His breakthrough came in 1986 with him the movie “About Last Night”. A trained actor has enjoyed success with movies like Red Heat (from 1988) and my partner with the cold muzzle ( “K-9”), which also funds staples. For other popular films include “Jumpin ‘Jack Flash (1986), Homer and Eddie (1989), Mr. Destiny (1990), Abraxas (1991) and a guest appearance in Wag the Dog (1997).

From 2001 to 2009 he played Jim in the series According to Jim (According to Jim) (Austria: Jim has always) right. He also plays regularly with the band The Sacred Hearts and on the side of Dan Aykroyd in “New Blues Brothers” when Jake’s blood brother, Brother Zee Blues.

On 11 November 2008 was awarded the Order of Belushi‘s “honor of the nation” from Albania. On 11 October 2009 it was announced that Belushi had received as presented in Tirana, the Albanian citizenship.

His voice is standard sync Joachim Tennstedt.

Family

Belushi was thrice married and has three children. On 17 May 1980, he married Sandra Davenport, with whom he has one son. A short time later, they divorced. Then he was married from 1990 to 1992 with Marjorie Bransfield. Since 2 May 1998 he is married to Jennifer Sloan, with whom he has two children.
