R. Kelly (born January 8, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois Robert Sylvester Kelly) is a singer, songwriter and music producer from the United States. He has sold more than 40 million records and others for Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Kirk Franklin, The Notorious BIG, Toni Braxton, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Whitney Houston and Puff Daddy songs written and produced.

Life

He spent his childhood with his single mother and his three siblings in a council estate in the South Side of Chicago. Death in 1993 his mother, Joanne Kelly of cancer. In his youth he made his mark as a talented basketball player in the Atlantic Seagulls “(1997 champions of their league) and discovered his musical talent in the music club in high school. Initially, Kelly played the piano by ear, later he bought a portable keyboard as a street musician and earned his first dollar. With his wife, Andrea Lee, he has two daughters, JoAnne and Jaya, and a son Robert. In 2003 he was indicted for alleged sex videos involving minors. The procedure has been terminated. Career

1991 R. Kelly signed to Jive Records. The first publication was called “Born Into The ’90s” (recorded with backing band Public Announcement) and took 1992 to rave reviews. At the Soul Train Music Awards R. Kelly received an award for Bump ‘N Grind in the category of Best R & B / Soul Single Male, at the Billboard Music Awards for Best Album.

Besides his own releases, he worked as a songwriter, producer, and the mixing desk for well-known artists. 1995 Janet Jackson made her “Anytime, Anyplace remix” of him. He wrote, produced and arranged including Michael Jackson’s worldwide hit You Are Not Alone. The song became a worldwide No. 1 success. For You Are Not Alone and Stroke You Up (Changing Faces) honored him the BMI Pop Citation of Achievement in 1995 for its artistic value services. Later, it became clear that Kelly had stolen the bulk of the melody .

His album “R” (double CD) released in October 1998 and consists of 30 titles (130 minutes) playing time, including the hits “I Believe I Can Fly and Gotham City.
