Ryan Reynolds Biography & Photos

Ryan Rodney Reynolds (born October 23, 1976 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada) is a Canadian actor.


His father Jim was a retired police officer of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Vancouver, where he later worked as a food wholesaler. His mother, Tammy worked as a clerk in the retail sector. He is the youngest of four brothers.

In the years 1991 to 1993 Reynolds has starred in the Nickelodeon series Hillside (aka Fifteen), for which he was nominated for the Youth in Film Award. For a time, Reynolds was in many Canadian television productions to be seen. Overall, his career seemed to take trains rather unsatisfactory, so he decided to sit at short notice, his job as an actor.

Also from Vancouver dating actor Chris Martin, however, was able to convince him to pack along with him all things and to travel to Los Angeles to pursue careers of both there. After several months in a cheap motel and a wrecked car after Reynolds was offered the role of ‘mountain’ in the television series Two Guys good enough to eat, which only slowly became a success (eg thanks to the cooperation of the Roseanne-author Kevin Abbott). Ultimately, the show opened doors for him all the more successful film roles. He was most successful collaborators in Reynolds as Wesley Snipes Blade: Trinity 2004’s who starred in Party Animals – Wilder not do it! (2002) and 2005 in Amityville Horror – A true story, the remake of the MGM film The Amityville Horror.

From 2002, Reynolds was with the Canadian singer Alanis Morissette. After five years of relationship, three of them as an engaged couple, have Alanis Morissette and Ryan Reynolds in February 2007 formally announced their separation .

In May 2008 it was announced that Reynolds has become engaged to actress Scarlett Johansson. The two have 27 September 2008 in Canada married to .
