Samantha Morton Biography & Photos

Samantha Morton (born May 13, 1977 in Nottingham) is a British actress.

Morton dropped out at the age of 13 years in the school term and had the same year her first television appearances, but received in 1995 a greater role of the miniseries Band of Gold. In 1997, she played Jane Eyre Brontë in the film based on the book by Charlotte. In 2002, she played one of the Precogs, Agatha, in the film Minority Report. In 2004 she starred opposite Johnny Depp in The Libertine.

It was 2000 for an Oscar as best supporting actress in Woody Allen film Sweet and Lowdown and in 2004 nominated as best leading actress in In America. In 2004 she also starred in the film Enduring Love with Daniel Craig and Bill Nighy.

Samantha Morton has a daughter from her relationship with actor Charlie Creed-Miles. Father of her second daughter, Harry Holm, son of actor Ian Holm.
